PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake disc which can perform regular interval controls of a brake part for its wear by a simple and economical method. SOLUTION: A brake disc is equipped with at least one visual type control means 4/5 to check the worn condition on opposing side face 1 mating with a ring-shaped brake band 2 on which a brake pad acts with friction. The control means may consist of an impression, slot, hole 4, notch 5, circumferential groove of throat form, an inclined groove, or combination thereof.
