PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively decompose an org. material having possibility of causing environmental pollution. SOLUTION: The org. material having possibility of causing the environmental pollution is decomposed by a photocatalyst. Especially, the decomposition of the org. material remaining after incineration is possible without using a special equipment by previously adding a photocatalyst precursor in the material. Then titanium oxide is used as the photocatalyst, a hardly decomposable org. material such as dioxins is adsorbed and decomposed.
