PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a photovoltaic power generation system to be changed over from an electric source line for a general use to an electric source line for thawing snow on melting snow to thaw snow at a low electricity rate. SOLUTION: This power generating system is provided with a power conditioner 2 connected between a solar battery 1 and an electric source line 3. The electric source line 3 can be selectively changed over to an electric source line 3a for a general use or an electric source line for thawing snow by the power conditioner 2. When thawing snow, at least the electric source line 3b for thawing snow can be selectively connected to the solar battery 1.
