PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a draining grating allowing rainwater or the like falling on roads to be drained efficiently and constituting a structurally simple and inexpensive side gutter lid and to provide a structurally simple and inexpensive side gutter lid designed to allow rainwater or the like falling on roads to be efficiently drained and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: A draining grating 1 comprises a main body member 2 in the form of a rectangular tube comprising a pair of approximately L-shaped outer peripheral side face members 5 of the same shape combined to each other with a draining space part 6 formed therein, a lid member 3 fixed on a projecting edge 11 formed at the upper edge of the main body member 2, and a reinforcement guide member 4 assembled in a reinforcement guide groove 9 formed in the lower edge of the main body member 2. A stepped-down draining opening 17 communicated to the draining space part 6 is formed between each longitudinal side of the main body member 2 and the lid member 3. An approximately funnel-shaped draining guide recess part 26 (26a, b) is formed in the principal surface 24 of a concrete main body 21 embedded with the draining grating 1, corresponding to the draining opening 17.
