PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent finger tips from entering between tooth plate sections by making the interval between tooth tip sections of the opposite comb tooth plate sections provided inclinatorily narrower than the interval between comb tooth root sections. SOLUTION: Both comb teeth 3a of two opposite comb tooth plate sections 3 are inclined inward so that the interval Wa between the comb tip sections of the opposite comb tooth plate sections 3 is made narrower than the interval between comb tooth root sections. The interval between the comb tooth root sections of the opposite comb tooth plate sections 3 is set to a relatively wide interval, e.g. about 5-10 mm, having no possibility that a Nichrome fine wire 4 serving as an excitation heating element arranged between them is located too proximately to the inner faces of the comb plate sections 3 to give a heat loss to comb tooth plates. The interval Wa between the comb tooth tip sections of the opposite comb tooth plate sections 3 is set to a narrow interval, e.g. 3 mm or below, capable of preventing finger tips or other objects from entering between them. Body hairs can be combed and aligned by the opposite comb tooth plate sections 3 with no trouble, finger tips are prevented from entering between them, and safety is improved.
