PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing apparatus for tobacco leaf capable of shortening the whole length, compacting a machine body, not requiring a complicated mechanism, consequently reducing a manufacturing cost and being readily maintained. SOLUTION: This sewing apparatus for tobacco leaf has a first conveyor C1 capable of transporting tobacco leaves in a state of a pipe P placed on a supplied lower layer tobacco leaves Ta and a second conveyor C2 positioned on the first conveyor C2. The second conveyor C2 supplies tobacco leaves Tb supplied to the second conveyor in a laminated state of the tobacco leaves to the lower layer and the pipe P transported by the first conveyor Ta. In the state, the tobacco leaves are sent to a sewing machine M and sewed.
