PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground bait sink capable of sufficiently utilizing fish gathering effects for catching fishes. SOLUTION: This ground bait sink 1 is provided with an inner case 2 having a ground bait inserting port and ground bait discharging holes 3 for exposing a filled ground bait formed therein and freely vertically movably supported through a supporting means 25 on a sinker part 21, a lid for opening and closing the ground bait inserting port, a main line supporting part 10c formed in the upper part, an outer case 10 having shutter holes 11 for opening and closing the ground bait discharging holes 3, an engaging means 33 for opening and closing the ground bait discharging holes 3 and a magnet means 34 for closing the ground bait discharging holes 3, and the ground bait discharging holes 3 are closed when sinking the ground bait sink 1 below the surface of water, the outer case 10 is made to slide by pulling up the ground bait sink 1 with a main line and thereby extensively open the ground bait discharging holes 3 and discharge the ground bait.
