PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a break, etc., of an ear tip rod by fitting of a top guide. SOLUTION: This top guide fitting structure for fishing rod is equipped with a fitting seat 3 attached to the tip of an ear tip rod 1, a male screw cylinder 4 which is slidably engaged with a part closer to the base side than the fitting seat 3 of the ear tip rod 1 and has a male screw 4b on the outer periphery and a top guide 5 which is externally fitted from the tip side of the ear tip rod 1 to the fitting seat 3 and has a female screw 6a to be screwed to the male screw cylinder 4. The fitting seat 3 is laid between the top guide 5 and the male screw 4 to detachably fix the top guide 5 to the tip of the ear tip rod 1.
