PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sulky type rice transplanter suitable for improving seedling planting accuracy. SOLUTION: In this lifting/lowering control structure of a sulky type rice transplanter equipped with an automatically lifting/lowering control means 21B for fitting plural ground making floats 14 to a seedling planting apparatus 3 liftably connected through a lifting/lowering link mechanism 2 to the rear of a traveling machine body 1 so as to vertically rock the floats around a horizontal axis center P2, making a sensor float 14 from any of the ground making floats 14 and controlling the lifting or lowering of the seedling planting apparatus 3 so as to return the rocking position of the sensor float 14S to a preset standard position range, the lifting/lowering control structure is equipped with a correcting means 21C for correcting the standard position of the sensor float 14S based on the detection from an inclination angle detecting means Sc for detecting the inclination angle in the longitudinal direction of the traveling machine body 1 or the seedling planting apparatus 3. The correcting means corrects the standard position of the sensor float 14S in a correction amount smaller than the inclination angle in the case in which the inclination angle detected by the inclination angle detecting means Sc is smaller than a preset boundary value.
