PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the lateral movement device of a combine harvester, capable of well laterally moving a reaping section even in a combine harvester model which is used for reaping three or more rows and has a route capable of longitudinally carrying grain culms and having an approximately y-shaped form on a planar view. SOLUTION: A travel section provided with a pair of right and left crawler travel devices and a work section B provided with a reaping portion and a threshing portion 10 can relatively be moved using hydraulic cylinders in the lateral direction of the frame. A stem culm-carrying device 7 for joining reaped stem culms to stem culms in the main carrying system Sh and further carrying the joined stem culms toward a threshing portion 10 comprises the main carrying system Sh and an auxiliary carrying system Hh. The starting end portion and the final end portion of the main carrying system Sh are arranged behind the right side raising device 5 and near to a feed chain 8, respectively. The final end portion and the starting end portion of the auxiliary carrying system Hh are arranged at the longitudinally central site of the main carrying system SH and at the starting end portion behind the left side raising device 5, respectively.
