PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pit which can be constructed and worked in a short period of time, wherein waterproofing membrane, etc., are hardly peeled or expanded, which can be repaired easily, and a method for constituting it. SOLUTION: Concrete is placed on the bottom of a hole 1 formed in the ground in advance to form a bottom concrete layer 2, and an FRU box body 10 consisting of plate-like bodies 12 of a glass long fiber reinforced hard urethane form (hereafter: FRU) is mounted on an adhesion layer formed on the bottom concrete layer. Reinforcing bars 5 are arranged between an interior wall surface of the hole 1 and an outside of the FRU box body 10, a reinforced frame 14 formed of fixing and reinforcing pipe members 13 of the FRU box body 10 is assembled, the plate-like bodies 12 are vertically inserted into the hole 1 and are arrange to the outside thereof, and they are fixed to the reinforcing bars 5 or the bottom concrete layer 2 with ties 15 or bolts. Concrete is poured between the interior wall surface of the hole 1 and the outside of the FRU box body 10. After the concrete is solidified, the reinforced frame 14 is removed, and a glass cloth is stuck on the insides of the plate-like bodies 12.
