PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hedge type structure which can be built to a wall shape almost any place at a low cost by arranging a cage type container opened with a mesh pattern to the front surface with sandbags stacked in the container and plant roots planted into the sandbags. SOLUTION: Raw material of a bag body 3 of a sandbag 2 has air permeability and flexibility as well as a strength which permits sticking and breaking the bag by grown roots T1 of a plant T. Next, a container 1 with at least the front surface 1A opened to a mesh shape thereby permitting stems and leaves of plants passing through the mesh is fixed to a plurality of stays 10 erected in advance from the ground G, and sandbags 2 made of bag bodies 3 filled with soil 4 are placed in the container 1. Next, for a plant T, the plant normally grown by a method called container culture is adopted, and rooting is performed by planting root portion T1 of the plant T into the sandbag 2. In this way, it becomes possible to create a hedge type structural body using living plants without planting work thereby realizing a hedge type structural body at a low cost.
