PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamping device compacting structure. SOLUTION: A cylindrical body 37a of a cylinder S is integrally formed on a first master claw 37 forming the work holding part 19b of a moving clamp 19. A second master claw 41 forming a work holding part 19c of the moving clamp 19 is integrally connected to a piston 38 forming the cylinder S. The first master claw 37 is connected to a second lever 25e of a link mechanism 25, and the second master claw 41 is connected to a first lever 25d of the link mechanism 25. A point of the first lever 25d and a point of the second lever 25e are controlled by a cam 25a of the link mechanism 25 so that they can move in the directions opposite to one another only by a certain distances.
