PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep one's feet warm during work in a kitchen by arranging a pantry projected out toward a corner portion in a kitchen in a space underneath a stair, thereby increasing the degree of freedom in the design of a space such as other rooms other than the kitchen. SOLUTION: A pantry 1 is arranged at a corner portion 2a in the kitchen 2 by projecting it out inside a kitchen 2 thereby keeping one's feet warm during work in the kitchen 2. Then, if there is a certain room in the space within a house, the kitchen 2 or the pantry 1 are made wider as required, ant it is desired to provide a various kind of a shape such as rectangular or fan-shaped. Also, the pantry 1 may be used also as a utility room for performing housework in concentration such as electric ironing work in addition to a storage for tableware. In this way, it is located in a space below a stairway thereby effectively utilizing a wasteful space inside a house and increasing the degree of freedom in the design of space such as other room or corridor other than the kitchen 2.
