PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively prevent the reduction of the productivity caused by cleaning and removing stuck zinc powder in an alloying furnace. SOLUTION: At the time of producing a hot dip galvannealed steel sheet by dipping a steel sheet 1 into a hot dip galvanizing bath 3, executing plating, controlling the stuck amt. of plating by a gas wiping method and executing alloying treatment by induction-heating in an alloying furnace, the plating is applied by making the temp. of the hot dip galvanizing bath to <=455 deg.C. Moreover, the pressure of wiping gas at the tip of a nozzle in the gas wiping method is made to <=0.6 kg/cm2.
