PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shampoo composition excellent in usability, storage stability and foaming in washing, free from hair scraping in rinsing and having an excellent effect that affords a smooth and soft feeling to washed hair. SOLUTION: This shampoo composition includes (A) 2 to 15 wt.% of a tetradecenesulfonate, (B) 2 to 15 wt.% of a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether sulfate, (C) 0.5 to 5 wt.%. of a quaternary ammonium salt type cationic surfactant and (D) 0.1 to 3 wt.% of a cationized guar gum.
