PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive concrete charging apparatus. SOLUTION: The concrete charging apparatus comprises a hopper 9 with a bottom 7 opened attached to a back face 5a of a bucket 5 of an excavator 1, a bottom plate 15 placed at the bottom of the hopper so that it can slide in directions for opening/closing the bottom, a rack 17 attached to the bottom plate, and a pinion 23 rotating by a motor 21 attached to the hopper, wherein the pinion is engaged with the rack, and when the pinion has rotated in a predetermined direction the bottom plate opens the bottom of the hopper, while when the pinion rotates in an opposite direction, the bottom plate closes the bottom of the hopper.
