PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adsorb and recover the fat and oil components included in waste liquid from various kinds of factories and the fat and oil components, etc., floating and drifting on a water surface and to ensure safe use without contaminating water quality, animals and vegetables, etc., at the time of recovering and removing the same. SOLUTION: An oil absorptive material 3 consisting of the hair materials bundled and integrated by a suitable cover material 1 is fed into the fat and oil components or the aq. soln. contg. the fat and oil components is supplied to the oil absorptive material 3 to have the fats and oils adsorbed on the oil absorptive material 3. The body is formed of the hollow cover material 1 which is freely deformably formed of a net material and the oil absorptive material 3 which consists of the many fur materials covered with the intermediate cover material 2 formed of a oil absorptive stock. The cover material 1 is formed of a freely stretchable net material, such as panty stockings, the intermediate cover material 2 is formed of paper for newspaper. Human hairs or feathers are used as the oil absorptive material 3.
