PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic clip in a simple structure, capable of easily inserting a material to be held directly therein with a hand and easy to handle, with great force to hold the material, lower in cost and excellent in housing of the material. SOLUTION: A first holddown member 2 and a second holddown member 3 which are formed by turning both sides of a metal spring plate 1 back to the same side are put on each other to energize the first holddown member 2 located outside to the inside and the second holddown member 3 located inside to the outside. A material to be held is held between the inner face of the first holddown member 2 and the outer face of the second holddown member 3.
