<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side lamp unit for an automobile facilitating travel on a narrow road with obstructions and entry into a garage in dark surroundings at night or the like and preventing a side impact accident. SOLUTION: The side part of an automobile body 3 is provided with a resin molding 2 with a lens 1 fitted therein, over a door panel from a front fender. A plurality of lamps are arranged at the bottom face of a recessed part of the molding 2, and the lens 1 for uniformly scattering the illuminating light of the lamps and reflected light with the recessed part as a reactor face, in the longitudinal direction of the molding 2 is fitted in near the edge part of the recessed part of the molding, thus constituting a slide lamp unit.</p> |
