PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ozone generator allowing an easy application to a humid place of relatively small capacity such as house underfloor space and an underground warehouse, and exterminate vermin, bacteria or the like liable to appear at such a place. SOLUTION: An ultraviolet lamp 4 is installed on a base 2 and a reflector 3 is detachably fixed in the vicinity of the ultraviolet lamp 4. In addition, a power circuit is disposed on the base 2 for lighting the ultraviolet lamp 4, thereby constituting an ozone generation device 1. In this case, the ultraviolet lamp 4 preferably contains argon gas and mercury vapor sealed in a quartz glass tube containing a high purity of silicic acid. |
