PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a seal container suitable to fragrant food or steamed food by providing, in an internal space formed by a container body and a lid, a hermetic package which automatically unseals with an internal pressure rising by heating by a microwave oven to diffuse fragrant constituents outside. SOLUTION: When the seal container is placed in a microwave oven and heating of the seal container 1 is started, moisture in nonwoven fabric 6 impregnated therewith of a hermetic package 4 begins to vaporize to have an internal pressure of the hermetic package 4 increased to cause an entire outer package 5 to swell. Moisture contained in a cooking substance X in a container body begins to vaporize to rise the internal pressure in the container body, thereby causing a lid to swell outward. The internal pressure in the container body and the outer package 5 rises, a back seal 8 and/or end rim seals 9, 10 begins to peel on the outer package 5, and when peeling reaches a tip of the seals, vaporized moisture and fragrant constituents are discharged outside. Thus the fragrant constituents can be entirely and evenly spread over cooked food. |
