FUEL INJECTION VALVE AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the early deterioration of an elastic body attached to a valve element while maintaining a condition that an injection hole is certainly airtightly closed by the valve element. SOLUTION: This fuel injection valve is equipped with an injection nozzle 17 having an injection hole 35 for ejecting fuel and a valve element 11 for closing the injection hole 35, and an elastic body is arranged to either one of the wall surface of the injection nozzle 17 or the wall surface of the valve element 11. The elastic body is so arranged that when the valve element 11 closes the injection hole 35, the wall surface of the valve element 11 abuts on the wall surface of the injection nozzle 17 after the valve element 11 abuts to the injection nozzle 17 through the elastic body.
