PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve shielding heat transfer to a drain hose, a prevention of the deformation, burning or the like of the drain hose and a higher durability of the drain hose by making a cover means prevent direct hitting of high temperature steam generated during the cooking of rice to the undersurface of a drain hose while a clearance part is formed between the cover means and the undersurface of a guide initial end part of the drain hose to provide an air layer in a space part communicating therewith sideways. SOLUTION: In a rice washing/cooking apparatus which is provided with a washer for washing rice and a rice cooking device which receives rice to be delivered from the washer and water for cooking rice to cook the rice, a box 16 which can receive and drain foul water generated during washing is provided at a lower part of the washer and made to communicate with a drain hose to guide the foul water discharged from the box 16. A cover means is provided between the drain hose 1 on the communication side and the rice cooking device to cover the undersurface of the drain hose 1.
