PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce rolling resistance and heat accumulation by using an insert containing setting polydiene rubber connected by a metal of the IVB group including tin, lead, germanium and silicon, a filler within a specific pts.wt. range, and fatty acid within a specific pts.wt. range. SOLUTION: A substantially crescent insert 12 is arranged in parallel in at least one of carcass plys 10 in a side wall 3 of a tire so as to be inserted into the axis inside. The insert 12 contains setting polydiene rubber connected by tin, lead, germanium or silicon, about 30-130 phr (pts.wt. per 100 parts of rubber) of a filler, and about 0.1-5 phr or fatty acid. The insert 12 using this composition provides a higher level modulus, to reduce its thickness. In this way, accumulation of heat and a level of a hysteresis can be lowered to reduce rolling resistance and accumulation of heat. |
