PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the quantity of wastes to be crushed and reduce the amount of thin and long wastes which falls as they are by using a screen, widening the surface area of a discharge port for crushed wastes, and catching the thrown wastes with crushing plates. SOLUTION: Crushing plates of a crusher 17 are made to be screen crushing plates 21A, 21B made of screens. While wastes being crushed by crushing teeth formed in the screen crushing plates 21A, 21B, the crushed wastes are dropped through a gap formed in the lower parts of the screen crushing plates 21A, 21B and at the same time crushed wastes are passed through the mesh openings of the screen crushing plates 21A, 21B to be discharged outside. The crushing teeth formed in the screen crushing plates 21A, 21B are formed by steel rods 34 extended in the transverse direction.
