PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain efficient deodorizing effect by freely rotatably arranging a rotor having plural fins almost in parallel to the axis of an ultraviolet lamp and provided along the rotary axis at a prescribed interval on the outer circumference of the lamp arranged in a device body case and providing a photocatalytic layer on the ultraviolet irradiation surface of the fins. SOLUTION: When a power switch is turned on and a motor 10 is rotated, an air fan 3 is rotated through a driving gear 11 and a gear part 9 of a frame body 5. The fins 6 are integrally rotated in the same direction with the rotation, air in the air fan 3 is blown on its front surface 6a and air flow is generated in the device body case 2. At this time, the ultraviolet lamp 4 is turned on and the front surface 6a is irradiated with ultraviolet rays. As a result, the induction action of electron in the front surface 6a of the fin 6 is generated to produce strong oxidation action on the front surface 6a of the fin 6. Malodorous molecules in the air flowing while being in contact with the fin 6 and containing malodor is decomposed by the strong oxidation action on the front surface 6a of the fin 6 to be deodorized. |
