SOLUTION: A first combustion that an EGR gas amount in a combustion chamber 5 is larger than an EGR gas amount that a soot generation amount is peaked and soot is hardly generated and a second combustion that the EGR gas amount in the combustion chamber 5 is smaller than the EGR gas amount that the soot generation amount is peaked, are selectively performed. When the first combustion is performed, the downstream pressure of a throttle valve 20 is controlled to a desired pressure that an EGR rate is set to a desired EGR rate. |
