PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate attachment/detachment of rear drain channel member fitting structure provided below the rear edge of an opening in an outer sliding type sun roof, while ensuring sufficient connecting strength to a guide rail made of an aluminum alloy. SOLUTION: Downward protruding pieces 19 are provided at the lower faces of both side ends of a rear drain channel member 18, and a side frame member 4 is provided with a sliding panel guide groove 10 for supporting a sliding panel slidably, and a push-pull cable insert groove 9 parallel with the sliding panel guide groove 10. A connecting member 22 provided with an engaging part with the side frame member 4, and engaging parts with the protruding pieces 19 is interposed between the protruding pieces 19 and parts, corresponding to the protruding pieces 19, of the side frame member 4 to connect the rear drain channel member 18 to the side frame member 4. The connecting member 22 is formed of a synthetic resin member which is a separate body from the side frame member 4 and detachable from the side frame member 4. The connecting member 22 is received into a recessed part 23 opened at its upper face and provided to move a sliding panel support member forward and backward between a peripheral wall 10a of the sliding panel guide groove 10 and a peripheral wall 9a of the push-pull cable insert groove of the side frame member 4. |
