PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the adhesion property of a sanitary napkin to the periphery of the ostium of the vagina. SOLUTION: The sanitary napkin 1 has a means 7 for deforming a core 4 so as to crown the core upward. The means 7 for deforming the core so as to crown the core elastically elongates and contracts in the transverse direction of the napkin 1. The napkin 1 has a stopping means 19 to shorts for wearing only in the central part in the transverse direction so as not to hinder the elongation and contraction thereof.
