发明名称 STARTING MATERIAL OF GLASS AND PRODUCTION OF LOW MELTING POINT GLASS
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain an Ag2O-P2O5 type low melting point glass by using silver hydrogenphosphate. SOLUTION: The low melting point glass preferably has a composition consisting of, by mol, 15-85% Ag2O, 0-50% halides of Ag, 5-50% P2O5 and 0-40% oxides and/or halides of Zn, Cu, Ca, Ba and Bi. Starting materials of the glass including at least silver hydrogenphosphate are prepared and mixed so as to obtain the desired composition and the mixture is put in a melting furnace or a crucible, melted and molded to obtain the low melting point glass. Silver hydrogenphosphate is easy to handle because it is solid and can be used as powder. Much P2O5 can be introduced into the glass composition because 1 mol P2O5 based on 2 mol Ag2O is introduced by reaction. The low melting point glass has 120130 deg.C transition temp. and is sufficiently fluidized by heating at 260-330 deg.C.
