PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reserving poultice for a long time so as to prevent discoloration caused by oxidation and lowering of efficiency of the poultice. SOLUTION: In a method for preserving poultice, a poultice is charged in a gas-carrier type packing bag together with oxygen scavenger, and then the bag is sealed. Alternatively, the poultice is reserved with the use of a gas-barrier type packing bag made, at least in part, of an oxygen absorbable sheet which has a lamination of an oxygen-permeable layer made of an oxygen-permeable thermoplastic material, an oxygen absorbable layer made of an oxygen absorbable component blended with an oxygen-scavenger component, and a gas-barrier layer made of a gas barrier material, which are laminated in the mentioned order, the film being set with the oxygen-absorbable layer being laid inside. With this arrangement, the effective components of the ointment of the poultice, refined oil components and the like can be prevented from being oxidized so as to prevent discoloration of the ointment, and lowering of the effect of medicine, thereby it is possible to reserve the poultice.
