PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and efficiently obtain a gel composition microencapsulated with a physiologically active substance. SOLUTION: This gel composition is obtained by the following procedure: a physiologically active substance is added to an aqueous solution containing a substance holding the ability to form a hydrogel to afford an emulsion or dispersion of the physiologically active substance followed by gelatinizing the emulsion or dispersion to form a hydrogel, which, in turn, is pulverized by mechanically crushing power. |
