PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detergent which can safely and easily remove dirt adhered to tiles by incorporating ammonium hydrogendifuloride, a surfactant, and an alkylene oxide adduct to an alcohol compd., each in a specified amt., into the same. SOLUTION: This detergent contains 0.1-70 wt.% ammonium hydrogendifluoride, 0.01-50 wt.% nonionic or anionic surfactant, 1-70 wt.% compd. represented by the formula: R1-O-(AO)n-R2, and 0.01-70 wt.% chelating agent (e.g. tripolyphosphoric acid). If necessary, the detergent further contains a freezing point deppressant, a dispersant, a viscosity modifier, a corrosion inhibitor, or the like. The detergent is applied in a coating wt. of 5-500 g/m2. Examples of the compd. represented by the formula are diethylene glycol monobutyl ether and triethylene glycol monobutyl ether. In the formula, R1 is a 1-9C alkyl or alkenyl, or the like; R2 is H or a 1-9C alkyl or alkenyl; A is a 2-4C alkylene; and (n) is the average number of moles of AO added, being 1-20. |
