<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet device capable of positively discharging a sheaf of sheets lifted up to a discharge roller position without degrading productivity. SOLUTION: A sheaf of sheets stored in a staple tray in a staple tray unit is locked at its rear end to a discharge pawl 17 and carried to a discharge roller position so as to be discharged from a discharge roller to a discharge tray. In this case, a return roller 5 is synchronized with the discharge pawl 17 to drive the sheaf of sheets to the direction of discharge for assisting the sheaf of sheets to be carried to the discharge roller position, so that the sheets, if in a large size to possibly cause buckling, can be positively discharged to the discharge tray side.</p> |
