<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a chlorosilane-, hydroxysilane- or aloxysilane-type polymerizable and crosslinkable derivative of a specific polysaccharide or oligosaccharide, comprising glycoside chiral units and capable of easily being polymerized and crosslinked into a three-dimensional network form. SOLUTION: The objective derivative is formed by a linear, branched or cyclic bond and is expressed by one of formulae I-V [X1-X3 are each O or NH; and R1 to R3 are each a chlorosilane, a hydroxysilane, an alkoxysilane or the like expressed by formula VI ((m) is an integer of 1-5; Y is single bond, NH-CO or the like; A is single bond, a 1-21C alkylene or the like; W is single bond or CH2-CH2-CH2-S; X is a halogen or OH)]. It is pref. that the polymerization degree of the derivative is 5-20,000 and that the derivative includes 0.05-2.95 numbers of the group of formula VI and 0.05-2.95 numbers of the group of the formula, A2-A1-CX4 (A2 is a 7-36C aralkyl or the like; A1 is single bond or NH; and X4 is O or S).</p> |
