PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration of the appearance owing to storing a muddy water to the groove of the pivot cap of a wiper device. SOLUTION: In a wiper device to carry out the reciprocating fluctuation by fixing a wiper arm 11L to the front end of a pivot 8L which is supported by a bearing 7L, and rotated reciprocating by a motor unit, the end face of the bearing 7L is covered by a pivot cap 10L having a circular groove 106 to surround the outer periphery of the pivot 8L, so as to prevent the invasion of the water in the clearance between the bearing 7L and the pivot 8L, and the scattering of the water to the motor unit. By providing plural drain holes 107 to the groove 106 of the pivot cap 10L, the deterioration of the appearance is prevented, by making no water stored in the groove 106 in a simple structure.
