PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a temperature rise in a compartment due to sunlight, to deodorize the compartment by ultraviolet rays from the sun, and to increase adhesiveness and durability by arranging a photocatalyst layer in the vehicle interior via an intermediate layer at least. SOLUTION: In formation of an upper liner, a photocatalyst layer 4 and a liner 2 serving as an upper face are stuck to each other via an intermediate layer 5 by means of a laminator. Then, a middle core 3 is arranged between the upper liner and a liner 2 serving as a lower face. As a photocatalyst, titanium oxide is most preferable and used profitably because of its structure stability, photoreaction harmful substance removing ability, and handling safety. A functional sunshade 1 with the photocatalyst layer arranged by mainly using a corrugated fiberboard material activates the photocatalyst layer by using ultraviolet rays from the sun and promotes an oxidizing reaction so as to transform an odorous substance into a non-odorous substance. In this way, the air inside the vehicle interior can be purified automatically when the sunshade 1 is used for suppressing a temperature rise due to solar radiation.
