摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid an offset of a printing sheet in a size of a shorter length for a thermal stencil base sheet of a small size by lengthening a distance from a press releasing position to a trailing end of the base sheet of the sheet of a small size longer than that of the case of a thermal stencil base sheet of a large size. SOLUTION: A dam element 91 is disposed on an area between a trailing end P1 of an engraving area A and a press releasing position P2. Since the area is pressed to the position P2 after the element 91, ink stored between a master 2 and a mesh screen 27 is wiped by a plate cylinder at the time of printing, dammed up by the element 91, and returned into a printing drum 1 via a mesh screen 2 before the ink is extended from a rear end of the master 2 to an exterior. Accordingly, when the cylinder is released at its pressing at the position P2, an excess amount of the ink of the degree of extending to an exterior is not existed between the master 2 and the screen 27. Therefore, an offset of a printing sheet does not take place in this aspect.
