PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent a support roller from deforming in a simple constitution and even in the case of a high temp. object to be treated by rotating the support roller in a minute rotation peripheral speed during treatment of the object to be treated and constantly changing an abutted support face between the object to be treated and the support roller. SOLUTION: Along a slab treatment pass line on a floor face 11, a slab cutting part 13 is arranged at an upstream side and a slab delivery part 14 at a downstream side. In the slab cutting part 13, the left support table, which is used for a delivery roller as well and consists of six pairs of slab support rollers 15, is arranged. The left slab support rollers 15, during treating an object to be treated of a slab 10, are rotated at a minute rotation peripheral speed not disturbing the treatment, the abutting support face between the slab 10 and the left support roller 15 is constantly changed. The object to be treated is a thick plate, a cutting torch is moved along a surface of the thick plate and in the direction orthogonal to the left slab support roller 15 and cuts the thick plate.
