PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain crushed pieces suitable for a laying material in a barn of various animals by fixing a plurality of hammers to the outer peripheral part of a rotary body and passing them in such a state that the recessed parts of a receiving blade are formed so as to provide a predetermined gap to crush an article to be crushed. SOLUTION: A casing 15 is mounted on a base stand 13 and a drive shaft 17 is disposed at the center position in the casing 15 and a plurality of disks 23 are attached to the drive shaft 17 so as to a predetermined pitch in an axial direction and hammers 25 are respectively attached and fixed to foure places to the outer peripheral parts of the respective disks 23 to cross at a right angle to each other. A receiving blade 37 is attached to the inner peripheral surface of the casing 15 and the receiving blade 37 is formed into a comb like form to form recessed parts 37a at a predetermined pitch. The respective hammers 25 are passed through the parts of the respective recessed parts 37a to crush the article to be crushed held between the hammers and the recessed parts 37a so as to tear off the same.
