PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remover of heavy metals included in an organism that can efficiently deposit heavy metal cations in the electrolytic bath by removing the fat and oil dispersed in the electrolyte solution before it is fed to the electrolytic bath. SOLUTION: An organism 11f in which heavy metals and lipids is included in the organism or an electrolyte solution 13 prepared by dissolving and ionizing the organism and the heavy metals are stored in a dipping tank 14. The electrolyte solution delivered from the dipping tank 14 is allowed to stay in a lipid separation tank 16 and a lipid coagulation vibrator 42 is provided in the lower part of the lipid separator to apply ultrasonic vibration to the electrolyte thereto. Lipid 12 that floats up on the surface of the electrolyte solution is excluded with a lipid excluder 17. The electrolyte solution delivered from the lipid separation tank 16 is stored in an electrolytic bath 18 and an anode 51 and the cathode are arranged in this electrolytic bath 18. A direct electric current source 53 is applied between the anode and the cathode at a prescribed voltage to deposit the heavy metals in the electrolyte solution to the cathode and the remaining electrolyte solution in the electrolytic bath is recycled to the dipping tank 14 by a circulation means 56.
