PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape cassette capable of more surely eliminating an adhesive adhered on a tape guide part, or the like, and a tape printing apparatus capable of eliminating an adhesive adhered on the tape guide part of the tape cassette, a platen roller, a tape driving, roller or the like, further certainly. SOLUTION: An insertion guiding part 45A is formed at a tape introducing opening of a tape guide 45. A slope part is formed in the insertion guiding part 45A, gradually narrowed from the inlet side of a cleaning tape 50 to the tip of the tape guide 45 so as to facilitate entrance of the cleaning tape 50. Accordingly, the cleaning tape 50 can enter into the tape guide 45 smoothly so as to be taken out while being rubbed by the tape guide 45. Moreover, fouling 45B, 33B, such as an adhesive on the tape guide 45 and a tape feed roller 33 is adhered on the cleaning tape 50 so as to be taken out to the outside of the tape cassette. |
