PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To seat a cab on the upper part of a machine body at ordinary running to prevent the cab from shaking, in a construction machine elevatably provided with the cab on the upper face of the machine body. SOLUTION: Guide roller devices 3, 4 are provided on the left and the right of the rear face part of a cab 2, and guide posts 6, 7 elevatably guiding the guide rollers of the guide roller devices 3, 4 are provided in rear of the cab 2 of a machine body 1. Further, an elevator motor 5 is provided on the rear face part of the cab 2, and a rack 13 is provided on at least either of the guide posts 6, 7 so as to extend from the upper end part to the lower end part. A pinion gear 15 elevatably moving the cab 2 by meshing with the rack 13 and rotating is provided on the motor shaft 14 of the elevator motor 5.
