PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent oil leakage of a thrust bearing affected by pressure variation coming to the thrust bearing generated by external barometric variation, temperature variation, and unevenness of dimension of radial bearings, etc., and to improve reliability. SOLUTION: One or more holes 2C, 2D are provided in an outer peripheral surface of a fixed shaft 2 near a flange 3, and the holes 2C, 2D communicate with an axial vertical hole 2B extending within the fixed shaft 2, then the axial vertical hole 2B goes to a space outside a sleeve 4A. This constitution eliminates the effect of pressure variation of radial bearings coming to a thrust bearing, to prevent oil leakage of the thrust bearing and improve reliability. Further, the whole area of a flange member can be provided with a thrust dynamic pressure generating groove, thereby a thrust floating amount can be heightened.
