PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin post capable of being patterned after molded with a side rib, being prevented from causing sink on the outside face of a rear case while being formed to reinforce the rear case, and showing a good appearance. SOLUTION: A resin post 1 has a front case 4 mounted in front of a boxed rear case 5 with an open front face with screws. A side rib 6 is protruded on the side face 5a of the synthetic resin boxed rear case 5, extending from the side of its front end to the side of its rear end. The front end 6a of the side rib 6 is formed as a screw supporting portion 8 having screw threaded holes 7 open to the front end of the inside face of the rear case 5. The outside face of the rear case 5 is recessed between the rear end 8a of the screw supporting portion 8 and the rear end 6b of the side rib 6 and formed as a cross-sectionally semicylindrical reinforcing portion 9 protruded from the inside face of the rear case 5.
