FLOOR-COVERING MATERIAL FOR LIVESTOCK AND CONTINUOUS PRODUCTION OF THE MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a floor-covering material having an effect capable of highly preventing bad and nasty smells in a barn, having elasticity too, and capable of being produced at a very low cost by blending a specific compost with a ligneous material. SOLUTION: This floor-covering material for livestock is prepared by blending, a compost produced from livestock excreta and a ligneous material as essential raw materials with a ligneous material pref. in a solid weight content ratio of (1:0.05)-(1:8.0). The floor-covering material for livestock is continuously produced by being used in a barn to be blended with excreta and by being made to become a compost to be mixed with a ligneous material. It is pref. that the solid content ratio of (the floor-covering material for livestock):(excreta) is (1:0.1)-(1:4.0) and that the solid content ratio of (the compost):(the ligneous material) is (1:0.05)-(1:8.0).
