Novel organosilicon compounds containing 1-alkenyloxy groups and comprising units of the formula where R are identical or different and are each a monovalent, halogenated or unhalogenated hydrocarbon radical having from 1 to 18 carbon atom(s) per radical, X are identical or different and are each a chlorine atom or a radical of the formula -OR1, where R1 is an alkyl radical having from 1 to 8 carbon atom(s) per radical which may be substituted by an ether oxygen atom, a is 0 or 1, b is 0, 1, 2 or 3, c is 0, 1, 2 or 3, and the sum a+b+c</=4, A is a radical of the formula where x is 0 or 1 and y is 0 or 1, with the proviso that the sum x+y is 1 or 2, z is 0 or an integer from 1 to 12, R2 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl radical, R3 can be identical or different and are each a linear or branched alkylene radical having from 1 to 6 carbon atom(s) per radical, R4 is a linear or branched alkylene radical having from 1 to 6 carbon atom(s) per radical, with the proviso that at least one radical A is present per molecule, are described.
