摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the forcible display of a stop pattern in order to change a pictorial pattern mechanically, when a variable display part is embodied as a rotor such as a drum or a belt. SOLUTION: When it is assumed that the command 'assign a variation speed to 10 ms/step' sent from a main board in timing (2) has not been normally received by CPU for display control, the variation cannot be stopped with a pictorial pattern of a pattern number(n), in case the CPU for display control receives the command 'stop the variation with the pattern of the pattern number(n)' in timing (4). In this case, the CPU for display control calculates the time required for the variation to be continued so that the pictorial pattern of the pattern number(n) comes to a display position, when the variation is continued at the n-assigned variation speed. Further, a motor drive circuit is made to continue the variation for the calculated time and when the calculated time is over, a command to stop the pictorial pattern is given to the motor drive circuit.
