PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicon steel sheet excellent in the balance of magnetic properties in the rolling direction and in the rolling orthogonal direction. SOLUTION: This silicon steel sheet is the one having a chemical compsn. contg., by weight, 1.0 to <3.0% Si, 0 to 0.80% Mn, 0 to 0.10% P, 0.010% C, 0.030% S, 0.020% sol.Al, <=0.010% N and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities in which at least one side is provided with an insulating film contg. 0.1 to 0.5 μm thickness resin. In this case, the magnetic flux density B50 in the rolling direction is >=1.85 T and Vicker's hardness is 10 to <180. |
